It is also lightweight and easy to move around during naps or for travel.
We love that it's constructed of soft materials that have mesh sides that breathe, which aids in airflow and ease of use. It's available in charcoal and oak and comes with a variety of melange fabric options that blend well with most decor styles. Anna found that it was solid and secure when it was attached to her bed. The legs slid into place and the zippers were secure to ensure security. It took Anna about 10 minutes to put it together and did not require any tools. There are clear instructions as well as a video, and a customer support number in case you experience any issues.

This is one of Chicco's most expensive models, but it comes with a lot of features. It can be used either a side-sleeper or a standalone crib and is suitable for infants ranging from birth to six months. It has a new mechanism to open and close the side panel. It's easy to operate, even for one-handed operation. It's also more flexible than its predecessor with 11 different height levels as well as feet that retract to installation under any bed.
Our testers appreciated the ease of use offered by the side panel, that can be moved up and downwards with just a single push of a button. This was particularly helpful in the evening when feeding time was over, since they could reach inside and pick their baby up without waking them.
The side panel can be lifted on its own, but it's not advised as it increases the chance of your baby falling out of the cot. But, the patented safety locking mechanism ensures that it will only stay down when attached to the parent's bed correctly. The only downside was the absence of captions in writing on a few images which made it difficult to comprehend some of the steps. Overall, the procedure was simple and the materials used were of top quality.
The Shnuggle Air is a great option for mothers who are nursing or have had C-sections. It allows them to reach out and touch their baby for comfort and feeding without having to leave their bed. It's ideal for parents who do not want to go through the hassle of putting their baby in a traditional cot, or getting out of it.
During our tests we noticed the smooth motion of this next-to-me crib to be especially helpful when it comes to lulling babies back to sleep after feedings at midday and in the evening. The drop-down side makes it easy to feed or soothe babies during the night. This was a major selling point for our exhausted test mums. Although it doesn't rock, or come with extra features, like a sound machine, the Joie Roomie Glide's elegant design and practicality are a welcome addition our top crib reviews for bed.
